The teleological thesis says that an essential feature of intentional action is that it is goal-directed or teleological. This study, it is believed, has achieved a satisfactory isolation of the main elements of a central place system required as inputs for a gravity model. The centres examined range in size from a major provincial centre to the local group of four shops, with most emphasis being placed on centres of intermediate size to these two extremes. These aspects of spatial relationships are followed by a consideration of the populations which are tributary to each centre and by the establishment of the threshold levels between centres of different rank. It shows how the trading areas of shopping centres vary by examining in turn the form of their trading fields, the nature of the interpenetration of over-lapping (or competing) trading fields, and the extent of the areas dominated by particular centres.

It indicates the level of consumer orientation to different types of shopping centre. This article examines empirically a number of features of a central place system which frequently have previously only beeen outlined in general terms. (1967) Customer Movement and Shopping Centre Structure: A Study of a Central Place System in Northern Durham, Reg. A number of arguments supporting these two views are based on Berber data. On the other hand, the paper aims to show that Chomsky's theoretical suggestions in the domain of Raising to Object are highly questionable, if not utterly wrong. The goals of the present paper are twofold: on the one hand, it aims to show that although Chomsky considers Raising to Subject as an essentially movement rule, this rule seems to operate in Berber without syntactic movement. does not question the existence of Raising to Subject, which he subsumes under the general rule of NP movement, he seems to strongly reject the rule of Raising to Object, claiming that what this rule does can easily be carried out by means of one of his constraints, the "Tensed S Constraint". Secondly, Raising in general is considered by Chomsky and most linguists as being a universal feature of natural languages. Raising in Berber has been selected for study for two main reasons: firstly, this syntactic operation which has hardly received any attention up to now involves areas which are central to the understanding of the whole syntactic structure of Berber. Namely, selection of the right location, among other things ensuring the necessary conditions which will make the process of storage to meet the technical and technological, economic, organizational, IT and other requirements upon it. Regardless of the kind and the type and the associated processes within storage one of the main activities in the design phase of storage is to define its location, with special emphasis on interaction with other elements of the production system (production and processing equipment, material handling equipment and devices, etc.). Due to the above reasons, the design of storage is an important task which needs to be adequately accessed. These storage processes along with the material handling processes are responsible for quantitative and dynamic balancing of material flows and as such have a significant impact on the total cost and productivity of the production system.

In those storages in the function of the kind and the type numerous processes are implemented. With the goal to determine the influence of distance calculation on the result of the load distance method, choice analysis of optimal location of warehouse for retail stores, shops in the urban area was performed and presented.Īnalysing of material flows within the boundaries of the production system it is possible to conclude that the sources and sinks of those material flows are storages. Neither one of these two approaches credibly describes transport routes because they not taken into consideration any physical obstacles that might occur between potential warehouse locations. For calculating of distance in the load distance method two approaches are in use rectilinear distance and Euclidean distance. Most often used methods are: gravity method, load distance method, Weber problem and many others. Quantitative methods are often used in practice from the reason greater objectivity and possibility to analyse obtained results.

According to the way of determination of new warehouse location these methods can be divided in two groups': qualitative methods and quantitative methods. For solving this problem many methods are on disposal. Choosing the right warehouse location is very important question which should be considered with great care, because it has a direct influence on the operating cost.
